The idea of dressing for the bedroom is not a new one. Down through the ages women have slipped into something a ‘little more comfortable’ for that special evening of intimate contact with their significant other. What has changed though is that it is now women who tend to buy that kind of apparel.

It used to be that a man would bring home something that he would like to see his lady in, but these days, she is more than likely to be the one who instigates some romance by choosing to wear something a little sultry and seductive.

These outfits can span anywhere between full length nightdresses to the smallest of outfits. Indeed, some are so small they are hardly more than a few strings artistically arranged over the female form! But the interesting phenomenon is that a lot of men would love to see their womenfolk dressed a little more conservatively, at least to begin with. The long negligee set could have waist high side slits to give a tantalizing glimpse of leg as the lady moves, or the whole ensemble could be very low cut at the back while the front looks very formal indeed. Either way, it is the element of surprise that entices the man to come closer.
